Conmemoran con exposición pictórica y artesanal, Día Naranja contra la violencia

  • Concientizar a la población sobre la importancia de no violentar a la mujer.

Apatzingán, Mich., a 25 de junio de 2019.- El presidente municipal, José Luis Cruz Lucatero, acompañado del jefe regional del gobierno del estado, Marco Antonio González Mendoza, inauguró la galería de pintura al óleo y artículos elaborados por los reclusos de diferentes centros penitenciarios, con la finalidad de conmemorar el Día Naranja contra la Violencia de Género.

Cada día 25 de cada mes, el Instituto Municipal de la Mujer Apatzinguense, realiza diferentes actividades para concientizar a la población sobre la violencia hacia la mujer, por lo que en esta ocasión se trabajó en conjunto con el centro penitenciario de Apatzingán, para exhibir los artículos que elaboran las personas que están privadas de su libertad.

El alcalde, José Luis Cruz Lucatero, dijo en su mensaje, que la violencia de género, es un delito que lamentablemente sigue sucediendo en todo el territorio mexicano, “pero es trabajo de todos nosotros, hacer que esas cifras disminuyan, desde nuestra trinchera hacemos todo lo que podemos para crear conciencia en la población, pero el salir del mundo de la violencia es decisión de cada quién”.

Manifestó que existen autoridades ante las que pueden acudir aquellas personas que sean víctimas de la violencia, principalmente mujeres, para denunciar y pedir apoyo psicológico y legal, con la finalidad de que se separen de la vida que llevan.

Reconoció la labor del DIF, a cargo de la señora, Minerva Guízar Brito y del IMMA, a cargo de Endi Herrera Estrada, por las labor desempeñada en apoyo a las mujeres víctimas de violencia.

Cabe destacar que en los arcos de la presidencia municipal, se exhibieron pinturas al óleo, huaraches, alhajeros, llaveros, cuadros, figuras de papel, entre otros artículos elaborados a mano por reclusos.
