Éste año la UPN Subcentro Buenavista, contará con instalaciones propias: Dr. Gordiano Zepeda Chávez

• El Ejido “Doroteo Arango” donó el predio para que se construya el edificio de la Universidad Pedagógica en el municipio.

BUENAVISTA, MICH., 04 DE MARZO DE 2021.- Tras la apertura del Subcentro de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN), en el ciclo escolar 2020-2021 en instalaciones de COBAEM Plantel Buenavista, y haber superado la matricula esperada; se ha dado inicio con la gestión, para que ésta Institución de nivel superior pueda contar con instalaciones propias, pues ya se ha concretado la donación de un predio por el Ejido “Doroteo Arango”, cuyo presidente del comisariado ejidal, Rafael Equihua Equihua, celebra que se haya signado el acuerdo con el Gobierno del Dr. Gordiano Zepeda Chávez, para que Buenavista cuente con una Universidad.

Y es que, en un hecho histórico para el municipio, la Mesa Directiva del Ejido “Doroteo Arango”. de acuerdo con el presidente municipal, Dr. Gordiano Zepeda Chávez, y desde luego el coordinador del Subcentro de la UPN en el municipio, se autorizó la donación del predio; y por su parte el Ayuntamiento, habrá de destinar recursos por el orden de los 2 millones de pesos para dar inicio con la primera etapa de esta institución de nivel superior, con lo que se confirma que, para ésta Administración Municipal que preside el Dr. Gordiano Zepeda Chávez, la educación es una prioridad.

Es así como el Subcentro de la UPN en Buenavista, se convierte en el primero del país, y el tercero en el estado, en contar con instalaciones propias durante su primer año de operación en el municipio, lo que acerca aún más a los jóvenes la oportunidad de cursar sus estudios en el nivel profesional, sin tener que salir de su lugar de origen, asimismo mediante la ejecución de proyectos de gran calado como lo es éste plantel, se impulsa el desarrollo económico y se generan empleos, y una vez que se reanuden las clases presenciales, se podrá tener una mayor movilidad de la economía en el municipio.

Cabe mencionar que el Profesor, Saúl Mandujano Velázquez, Director de la UPN Unidad Uruapan y el Dr. Mario Eduardo Gutiérrez Cabrera, Coordinador del Subcentro Buenavista Tomatlán, acudieron con personal del Ayuntamiento a conocer un predio propuesto para construir la UPN y se revisaron los planos del proyecto, luego de la ceremonia de clausura del diplomado de “Profesionalización de Servicios Educativos” del que egresaron 18 profesionistas que asistieron durante un semestre a recibir las diferentes asignaturas en el COBAEM plantel Buenavista, donde la UPN imparte las diferentes licenciaturas.
