- Prestadores de servicios reportan incremento en afluencia turística, hasta 4 veces más, durante los Días Santos
Morelia, Michoacán, a 18 de abril de 2019.- Durante el arranque del período de Semana Santa, miles de visitantes se dieron cita, desde las primeras horas de este jueves, en el Centro Histórico de Morelia para disfrutar de los distintos atractivos turísticos que ofrece la ciudad.
Junto a familiares y amigos, las y los michoacanos también salieron a visitar los diversos edificios emblemáticos de la capital del estado y realizar el tradicional recorrido de los 7 Templos más bonitos de la ciudad de la Cantera Rosa.
Tras destacar un ambiente de tranquilidad y seguridad, los turistas en la capital michoacana, dijeron que el estado se ha convertido en un referente de atracción turística que permite disfrutar de los recorridos en sus calles, conocer su historia, degustar los platillos típicos y llevarse un pedacito de la calidez de su gente entre los recuerdos, artesanías y fotografías que adquieren.
“Hemos hecho un recorrido por aquí, nos está encantando, nos recuerda mucho a ciudades de nuestra zona de Galicia; Estamos encantados con la gente, nos parecen todos ustedes amabilísimos, educadísimos, estamos muy contentos”, señaló, Belén Fernández, originaría de Galicia.
“Me ha sorprendido para bien, me encanta el aire medio imperial que tiene, la limpieza me ha llamado mucho la atención, no me he sentido inseguro en ningún momento, al contrario es hermoso caminar ayer en la noche y hoy”, comentó el madrileño, Marco Fernández.
“Encantadora, un cambio radical, había venido a este país hace 30 años exactamente, la limpieza, la seguridad, todo está en perfecto orden en Michoacán, hay que felicitar a su pueblo por las decisiones para que se proyecten en el mundo”, enfatizó Agustín García de Puerto Rico.
“La verdad me encanta, que por fuera esté todo muy bien conservado, la seguridad está muy bien, me siento tranquila y disfrutando”, señaló, Cristina Curiel Arias de Guadalajara.
La actividad turística representa para nuestro estado casi el 15 por ciento del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) y durante estos días de Semana Santa, los comerciantes del centro histórico de Morelia, así lo dejaron ver, al expresar con entusiasmo, que han cuadriplicado la presencia de turistas en sus establecimientos, por lo que esperan alcanzar llenos totales en el caso de restaurantes y aumentar hasta un 40 por ciento las ventas en los comercios de otros giros.
“La afluencia turística ha crecido casi el cuádruple en estos días de Semana Santa, vemos un muy buen rango de turistas, vemos turistas de todo, han llegado personas hasta de la India, China, Canadá y también de Estados Unidos, los invitamos a conocer nuestras tradiciones”, expresó Diego Márquez, gerente de establecimiento de venta de dulces tradicionales.
“Como desde la una empieza a llegar la gente y ya no paramos hasta la próxima semana con lleno total, los turistas están muy contentos, atendemos de entre 2 mil a 3 mil en el día”, informó, Madeline Díaz Montes, boletera del módulo de Tranvías.
“Ahorita estamos a un 60% por ciento pero creemos que en los siguientes días todavía podemos levantar ese 40 por ciento para llegar a la capacidad del 100 por ciento, con toda la actitud para servirle a los clientes”, señaló, Marco Hernández, gerente operativo de uno de los restaurantes del Centro Histórico.
Cabe recordar que el año pasado se tuvo un registro histórico de poco más de 9 millones de turistas, la cifra más alta de los últimos 11 años, lo que generó una derrama económica de 11 mil 50 millones de pesos.
