  • Los retos exigen del trabajo permanente y a mantener el dinamismo en todas las áreas.

Morelia, Michoacán, a 22 a de abril de 2019.- Con trabajo conjunto, sociedad y gobierno, en Michoacán estamos recuperando el turismo y consolidando nuevamente a la entidad como uno de los principales destinos gracias a su riqueza natural, cultural e histórica, y a la hospitalidad de su gente.

Así lo destacó hoy el Gobernador Silvano Aureoles Conejo, en reunión semanal con el Gabinete Legal, luego de la afluencia que registraron diversos destinos turísticos de la entidad en la primera fase vacacional de Semana Santa.

“Turistas nacionales y extranjeros nos siguen eligiendo como opción para visitar, gracias a que con trabajo conjunto, sociedad y gobierno, hemos ido cambiando el rostro al estado y recuperando la confianza de la gente”, expresó el titular del Ejecutivo estatal.

Afirmó que, si bien los indicadores muestran un crecimiento sostenido en la captación de turistas y derrama económica en los últimos tres años en la entidad, incluyendo el turismo que viene de Estados Unidos –que en 2018 creció 12.6 por ciento con respecto del registrado en 2017-, no debe bajarse la guardia.

En la reunión se revisaron datos preliminares de la afluencia registrada durante los pasados días santos, los cuales arrojan un incremento del 9.7 por ciento en el flujo de pasajeros nacionales en el Aeropuerto Internacional “Francisco J. Múgica”, y del 24.4 por ciento en el de pasajeros internacionales.

En cuanto a ocupación hotelera, Morelia, Uruapan, Pátzcuaro, la Costa y la zona que conforma “El País de la Monarca” registraron ocupaciones de entre el 87 y 100 por ciento.

Aureoles Conejo exhortó a las y los integrantes del Gabinete, a mantener el dinamismo en todas las áreas, sin descanso y con la convicción de que, trabajando unidos y escuchando a todos los sectores de la sociedad, Michoacán seguirá superando los retos.

“Esta Semana Santa hemos visto con beneplácito la gran afluencia de turistas en prácticamente todos los destinos, reflejo también de la anfitrionía del pueblo michoacano, que es gente noble, trabajadora y orgullosa de sus raíces; sigamos por esa ruta”, convocó.
