Se registra Helada en Coalcoman

  • La temperatura, es de hasta menos 4 grados, se recomienda extremar precauciones para no enfermar.

Morelia, Michoacán, 29 de enero de 2019.- La Secretaría de Gobierno a través de la Coordinación Estatal de Protección Civil informa que, derivado de los descensos extremos de temperatura, la madrugada de este día la cabecera municipal de Coalcomán se vio afectada por una helada.

Autoridades municipales y de protección civil inspeccionaron la zona con la finalidad de descartar afectaciones en la integridad física de los pobladores, que por fortuna, no fue el caso toda vez que se tuvo el registro de menos 4º C que marcó el termómetro en la localidad.

Dado que esta región ha sido históricamente propensa a la caída de agua nieve, los habitantes ya cuentan con el conocimiento y la experiencia para hacer frente a las bajas temperaturas, no obstante, protección civil ha mantenido desde el inicio de la temporada invernal, una campaña constante de difusión con las medidas preventivas y recomendaciones para ser atendidas en caso de ser necesario.

Ante este panorama y al pronóstico del descenso de las temperaturas por la presencia del frente frío número 32, es preciso reiterar las recomendaciones que el Sistema Nacional de Protección ha dispuesto para promover la cultura de la prevención y de la autoprotección en situaciones de frío extremo:

•    Informar a las autoridades competentes sobre la existencia de grupos o personas vulnerables (niños, adultos en plenitud, enfermos, personas con capacidades diferentes, en situación de calle, indigentes, entre otras), para su atención correspondiente.

•    Vacunarse contra la influenza estacional, con el objeto de reforzar defensas.

•    Consumir frutas y verduras ricas en vitaminas A y C (los cítricos y en especial las frutas de temporada son las indicadas).

Ante la presencia de un frente frío, es recomendable:

•    Permanecer dentro de casa y procurar salir solo lo necesario

•    Usar ropa de abrigo, proteger el rostro y la cabeza, cubrir boca y nariz evitando la entrada de aire frío a los pulmones.

•    Usar cobijas o cobertores suficientes durante la noche y en especial al amanecer, que es cuando deciente más la temperatura.

•    Incluir en la dieta diaria alimentos ricos en carbohidratos los cuales proporcionan energía, tales como: pan, grasas, dulces, chocolates, etc. Con el objeto de incrementar tu capacidad de resistencia al frio.

•    Cerciorar que las estufas de carbón, eléctricas y de gas estén alejadas de las cortinas y haya ventilación suficiente en la habitación.

•    Mantener a los menores de edad alejados de las estufas, calefactores y/o braseros.

•    Los adultos en plenitud, así como los enfermos que padezcan enfermedades cardiacas (corazón) o de las vías respiratorias, por ningún motivo deben salir a la calle, ya que el frio ejerce una tensión extra y existe el riesgo de presentarse complicaciones en la salud.

•    Al salir de un lugar cálido, cubrir boca y nariz, para evitar aspirar el aire frio: los cambios bruscos pueden enfermar el sistema respiratorio.

Finalmente, la Coordinación Estatal de Protección Civil recomienda seguir estas medidas de seguridad.

•    No encender estufas, anafres o braceros a base de gas o carbón dentro de la habitación que carezcan de una ventilación adecuada, ya que pueden provocar lesiones a la salud y en ocasiones la pérdida de la vida de sus ocupantes por la inhalación de monóxido de carbono (tóxico).

•    Hacerse de un extintor en casa y aprender su manejo.

•    Sellar puertas y ventanas con papel periódico, cinta adherente u otro material para evitar corrientes frías y la salida del calor acumulado en su casa.

•    Acercarse a las autoridades de protección civil del municipio e informarse de los planes previstos para esta temporada, así como los puntos de reunión, refugios temporales, cocinas comunitarias, centros de acopio y distribución de agua, víveres y abrigo, entre otros.

Por último, se le recuerda a la sociedad reportar cualquier situación de riesgo a la línea telefónica de emergencias 911
