Apatzingán, Mich., a 10 de enero de 2019.- A cuatro meses de haber iniciado el plan de embellecimiento urbano, en el que participa el departamento de Aseo Público, la dependencia cuenta ya con 9 vehículos trabajando, con los que se atienden a las 86 colonias que hay en la zona urbana y 96 comunidades rurales.

Lo anterior fue informado por el jefe Aseo Público, Eric Santamaría Bueno, quien señaló que si bien es cierto que el parque vehicular que se tiene, no alcanza para pasar por cada colonia por lo menos una vez a la semana, “sí estamos haciendo un máximo esfuerzo por atender las demandas de la ciudadanía en la medida de nuestras posibilidades”.

Al respecto dijo que la dependencia de Servicios Municipales, recibió únicamente 3 unidades trabajando, por lo que el alcalde José Luis Cruz Lucatero, giró indicaciones para que poco a poco se fueran incorporando más vehículos a las rutas “y de esa forma es que en un periodo de 4 meses, hemos logrado integrar 6 vehículos más, al trabajo”.

Adelantó que en el presente año la administración municipal adquirirá un parque vehicular de entre 6 y 10 unidades, para el Aseo Público, con una inversión estimada de más de 10 millones de pesos, “con esto alcanzaríamos a cubrir cada colonia por lo menos una vez por semana”.
Finalmente informó que en Apatzingán solo los vehículos del Aseo Público, recolectan 140 toneladas diarias de basura, “pero debemos recordar que también tenemos concesionarios y ellos recolectan otras tantas toneladas”.
